Gerald Parel is a French multidisciplinary artist based near Munich, Germany, celebrated for his bold, highly collectible visual style. His work spans comics, illustration, concept art, and design, with a strong focus on striking cover imagery and expressive line work.
He is widely recognized for his contributions to Marvel Comics, including the complete sequential art for Iron Man: Season One, as well as iconic covers and interiors for Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Men, Star Wars, and S.H.I.E.L.D.
Gerald made his DC Comics debut with Batman: Europa in 2016 and has since produced sought-after cover art for numerous publishers, including BOOM! Studios, Image, IDW, Dark Horse, Dynamite, Valiant, and Vault.
